I totally agree. I listened to the damn thing while I was delivering pizza (which seems like another lifetime right now) and it was not worth it at all. I even borrowed it from the library! I understand her goal is to seriously describe how things were back then but I think she may have lost her damn mind.

I thought the last book was totally anticlimactic and meh. It's like she phoned it in to get it over with, and just make the paycheck. Then I again, I think the first 2 books are the best.

I agree. When I do a "re-read" I pretty much stop on #2. I think her kids should have to battle it out in some kind of cage match to the death.
