The Matrix
Gladiator
Casno
The Blues Brothers
Choosing between The Matrix and Gladiator is tearing me apart
I had a harder time between Casino and Matrix.

When two fit, it makes you think
I got the cute one, my woman
She says, "Lovin's all I bring"
And it's her loving that's a wonderful thing.
Lovin' yes we are, it's such a wonderful thing
When two fit it makes you think
See us both in the black
She lays on me so relaxed.

Buddy, you think you look strong? You’re wearing a cape.
Matrix or Blues Brothers?! You're killing me Feev!
This is only the second time where one didn't jump out at me immediately.
Now, what to choose.... Tough call between Blues Brothers and Gladiator. I think I'll end up going Maximus on this one. Much love to the BB, though!
you're solid gold // i'll see you in hell
didn't vote
couldn't care less if any of this set won or lost

In the poll.. Casino is spelled casno... Regardless, it got my vote

Remember, Remember, The Fifth of November, The Gunpowder, Treason, and Plot.
Whoa! And out of nowhere Blues Brothers takes the lead!
I hear you Jean, although I did end up voting for Gladiator because it's the only film in the bracket that I cared for. But to be honest I could care less if it makes it on.
Only the gentle are ever really strong.
I asked myself "if i were to sit down and watch both of these movies, which movie would i be more likely to get up and do something while it's on". that didn't work because i would end up forcing myself to watch the entire movie. so I asked myself "Which movie would i have to make myself watch more" the answer was Matrix, so my vote goes to Blues Brothers.
Unfortunately, no can be told what the Matrix is, you just have to see it for yourself...
but we DO get told what the Matrix is.
I think what he meant by that is that you can't properly explain the nature of the Matrix to someone without them having seen it first.

Finally, an easy bracket (for me anyway). The Blues Brothers is the only movie in this one that I didn't hate. I actually quite like it, though it loses some of its appeal as time goes on. Still, the band featured two of my favorite musicians, Steve Cropper and Donald "Duck" Dunn of The MG's, so it will always have that going for it.
Reading some of your responses to the films above made me realize why I love discussing movies. I've always said, nothing divides people like religion, politics and movies.
Anyway, this was a hard choice for me. I decided to think of it like this: if I had 3 hours to live, which film would I choose to watch; Matrix, Gladiator or Casino. In the end, like Cypher, I chose the Matrix.

I love Gladiator and Casino and I've never seen The Blues Brothers, but there is just something about The Matrix.
I honestly don't know what it is. I guess I just really have fond memories of where I was in my life at the time I saw that movie. I really believe that can determine ones love for a thing.
Not sure if that makes sense.

makes perfect sense. but, ummmm, cypher?
Cypher is the bald guy , the one that
Spoiler:
yeah i know. that's why i was questioning his comparison of himself to cypher of all people!
If I had three hours to live and had to choose one of those three movies to watch, I'd rather just die early.
How can any movie starring Keanu Reeves win? Srsly?
It'll take a lot more than words and guns,
A whole lot more than riches and muscle.
The hands of the many must join as one.
And together we'll cross the river.
