I may have just missed it, but what is the timeframe for the Night Shift lettered?
The books are with the hand-binder, who will also be making the cases. I'm not sure I've seen an actual timeframe that I'd feel confident in sharing yet (meaning: I think he gave a vahue schedule, and I don't want to put that vague schedule out there in case it is wrong), but I do have a phone call with him on Monday, so I will see how things are looking.

A silly question but I noticed when I got my NS GE, it was not shrink-wrapped like the other GEs were and I've seen some for sale that are shrink-wrapped. Is there a reason for that?
Got my Night Shift today. Was delayed a week thanks to the deep freeze in Texas.
I was traveling the day the remarques were offered, so didn't see the email for a few hours so missed out on Odgers, but got a Chadbourne.
The remarque is YAC (yet another corn):

Not a silly question. The printer wasn’t able to make a dummy book we were confident in, and although you can use the estimated binding case sizing to estimate the slipcase size, we decided to wait until we had finished books for the slipcase maker to size. This meant the finished books shipped to us to wait in our warehouse for the slipcases to be made. We aren’t set up to shrink wrap in our warehouse, so these shipped like most of our books, sans shrink wrap.

Thanks Brian. That makes sense. I just wonder about the few I saw that said they were shrink-wrapped. I guess they made a mistake or did it themselves. Anyway, thanks for the answer, sir!
One retailer was definitely shrink wrapping his copies, I know I saw that somewhere along the way. Other sellers might be, too.
It’s actually not hard to do, but without a professional set-up, it is time consuming. I had to replace slipcases on some previously shrink wrapped books, and doing the process completely by hand took about 90 seconds per book. Not bad for 10 or even 50... but I cannot imagine doing thousands.

Good! His remarques are some of the best I’ve seen.

I’ve heard some people say that they already placed orders for CD’s edition of The Stand at some point in the past. Will there be further opportunities to order Artist or Gift editions or is it completely sold out?
