I stopped nominating older movies as I figured nobody would vote for them besides you and I.

This sounds wonderful! I need to watch more older films as my experience with them is somewhat limited to whatever my father and mother forced me to watch as a child.

to begin with, I suggest us all posting in that 50 favorite movies thread that is around here somewhere. I have been making up my list for years by now, because with my unbearable (hmmm... what did I say - unbearable???) perfectionism I have to have titles and years and directors and English versions of titles just right; I will post mine tomorrow, God willing, or maybe Friday, and hope all movie lovers who hasn't yet gotten around to that would do the same; I think our lists would be interesting and helpful to us
