Okay, I know there's a discussion thread about who you're going to vote for, but I thought the topic just called out to be placed in a poll.
Let's see if TDT.com votes the same way as the whole of the US.

Would you object to third party/non main party candidates being added? I know some people around here will be voting (unlike myself), but for neither of these choices.

You could either simply have an other option or if someone wanted to name someone else (they are legitimately voting for) I could add that person to the poll. Of course, it's your decision, but I'd be willing to keep up with it.

Might I suggest that we add a simple "none of the above" option? There are those, like myself, who will not be voting for either major party candidate and not for a third party candidate either. These days I vote primarily on the issues within my state/county and not on the federal electoral candidates. I think a simple "none of the above" would suffice.
I think it would be interesting to have numbers on those two factors.

Exactly. I think it covers all the bases. If someone votes "other" they can make a post telling us which "other" they would select if they'd like.
I actually think a "no-vote" option should be included on the actual ballots in our elections. I do not know exactly how it should be handled if "no vote" wins, but it would be a better way of assessing voter turnout to count the no-votes than to simply just have people not show up for any number of reasons.
