I was thinking the same thing. But then again, I've seen stranger things get attention (like Cheetos shaped like Harambe, for example)...

I know that those are not speaking to many people, but in my opinion it's in par with rare obscure fanzines. Although this time, there are (supposedly) only 5 copies.
The guy has made an actual "Pirates" series of "books" like this, "for his friends", so it's not just a one off and I guess that I like it as a french "completist".
But it's definitely not an official release.

At the signing, King read his short story LT's Theory of Pets. If you're not familiar with it, it involves a married couple and their dog and cat. So when it was my turn to get my book signed I asked King:
"So are you a dog person or a cat person?"
He answered: "Well, I started out as a cat person, but I became a dog person. Kinda like changing sexuality."
I loved it.

Yesterday I received this prize. I must say I was expecting something beautiful but my estimations were short. It's one of the nicest books I ever saw. Congratulations, Brian! It's an incredible edition!

Missing the Joyland S/L is one of the biggest regrets of my collecting life. I was on vacation when it was available for order and I didn't find out about it until they were gone.
