Thanks, everyone!

Very cool, John!. That's really hard to find.
John, congrats!
"...that Siren which called and sang and promised so much and gave, after all, so little." ~ Ray Bradbury
Very key aquisition.
Congrats!
OK, am glad coz i bought the only 1st/1st of the french Shining that i have ever seen for sale... my friend just recieved it and will give it to me when i'll go back to France :-)
The cover is ugly, but still, this is the true french 1st/1st (well, at one detail):
they were 2 editions published in May, 1979... Nothing to tell which one was the first printed (at least according to what I know..)
I need to find the other one now, but this is the one i always wanted, the one that i always considered at the true 1st/1st... :-)
Congratulations on getting the book you always wanted. I agree that the cover is ugly, but it is a 1st/1st
Congratulations, Herbert. A nice find!
John
I found a copy of Modern Masters Of Horror for $1.
Pretty good shape too.
Congrats on getting that 1st/1st that you've been looking for, herbertwest.
Way to go, Funky!
"...that Siren which called and sang and promised so much and gave, after all, so little." ~ Ray Bradbury
:-)
Yeah Funky, that's pretty cheap
Nothing earth shattering but I just got this the other day. PS Publishing is doing a 50th Anniversary edition of Ray Bradbury's DANDELION WINE. Stephen King has written a new introduction for this. PS Publishing is doing the book in several states and both King and Bradbury are signing the special slipcased edition. I don't think the books are ready for shipment yet, but here is the proof copy that I just got.
$750 for the deluxe slipcased edition that's signed by both King/Bradbury...nice idea, but I'll pass at that price. Limitation is 100 copies.
The weak dollar makes this title unappealing to me. I just can't justify $750 for King's signature.
I feel the same way. It'd be nice to have, but I just can't justify that price to myself.
John
This is my first DT Stephen King US edition. It arrived some days ago...
It is First trade edition in very very very good conditions!!!!
Dang. I'd love to have that Bradbury/King signed book, but $750 isn't going to happen.
Congrats, artan!
"...that Siren which called and sang and promised so much and gave, after all, so little." ~ Ray Bradbury
...and I even received this Second Ed. of DTII!!!...also in good condition.
Very nice, Artan. You even got one of the Collector's traycases for your Gunslinger first!
