I find a lot of their points to be spot on. This movie should make history.

On another note, I was reading some speculation and discussion regarding "Kylo Ren" that was very interesting indeed. You may find it worth reading as well. He sounds like a really cool character for the "next generation"!!!

I think there is almost a 0% chance that rumor is true. I'd believe the one about Jar Jar being a Jedi first.

It was a really early rumor after the first trailer. But since then they've literally shown the character without his mask in one of the trailers.

Interesting topic. My buddies and I have chatted at great lengths about this and find it near impossible for it to suck. In fact, I think you will see this (and we all closely agreed) settle around the 90%+ on Rotten Tomatoes. I sure hope so for the franchise's sake!

I posted this over on the CD message board, but though it was probably relevant here as well.

A friend and I did a Star Wars marathon over the weekend, roughly 13.6 hours straight. There are a couple of things that I've taken away from it though. While the prequels aren't great they get a lot more hate than they deserve. When watched back to back with the rest of the movies they really aren't that bad. Though I do wish they Anti-Cheese cuts where in 1080p as we would've watched those instead. The second is that for all the complaining about Jar-Jar (justified complaining). He's basically only in Episode 1. I think the more egregiously annoying character is C3-PO. Maybe it was exhaustion setting in by the time we got to the end of Empire and Return of the Jedi, but I found myself wanting the Empire to blow him up constantly throughout those movies.

I feel like you have to watch them in episode order, any other order and you probably wouldn't make it the whole way through. Overall though it's something I've never done before and am super happy I did it, though I will never do it again.

A few years ago I watched all six in a row. Took a lot of me but was glad I did it at least once. I agree with the comments above, the prequels aren't as bad as they get credit for.

Over the past couple of weeks I've watched all six in build up to tomorrow night. Was good to get the force flowing.
