Thanks Pam.I've really only wanted the unaltered recently as my affinity for the unaltered originals has grown tandem to the releases of the prequels on DVD.
The only think I like about the added scenes is the 3 second one of Bespin, my favorite Star Wars setting.
Personally the thing I look forward to is not seeing Hayden Christiansen's face at the end of VI. He is creepy.

Aw, I practically grew up with Star Wars. I forced my poor friends to make up sign names for all the characters (Han Solo and Chewbacca being my very favourites) and watch the trilogy with me. Eventually leading into that point where my Da's Star Wars VHS cassettes broke down from too many rewatches.
And.. Star Wars legos!!!Frido-sai bought a good few for his son last Christmas, I was actually quite jealous for that lucky little, sweet boy. Had I been there, I would've growled 'My precioussss' and gone to a dark corner, to build them all myself. ah.
In fact, I bought Frido 'The Making of Star Wars' when I visited him the first time in Denmark. What a brilliant book, I warmly recommend. He refuses to read it when I'm not there, though. Said it's a lot less fun without me, aw.
