Not so much, though. All he really had was American Grafitti, IIRC. MacGregor had a LOT more stuff under his belt. Star Wars pretty much put Ford on the map, baby.So did Harrison.

I said commercial success simply because it is the easiest way to "put someone on the map." Ewan's indie films, while they may be good, did not "put him on the map." Star Wars did.
