I’ve heard Rebels isn’t as good, but I still plan to watch them as background for the Ashoka show.

A world-weary Rey would be cool but can we PLEASE just keep the same director/creative team across all her movies (I'm assuming they'll turn this new Rey story into a trilogy). The sequels sucked in large part because they couldn't find consistency and were just all over the place.
James Mangold is goated so I won't even worry about his films. I know they'll be great.
Ditto Filoni.
Also, might we see Teen Grogu in the Rey films???
No, to me it sounds like the three new movies announced will be used to explore those eras more, maybe with the exception of Filoni's movie, since it will be wrapping up so much content already. I'm guessing Rey's movie or whatever series or media it kicks off will explore the sequel era in more detail, like the Clone Wars did for the prequels.
Also, these three are so perfect for Ahsoka, Hera, and Sabine! Could not hold back my nerdy tears of joy:
What did everyone think of the Mandalorian season finale?
I really liked it. I quite liked this season overall. It's definitely different from the first two, with more of a focus on Bo-Katan than on Din Djarin and Grogu, but I liked that. The finale didn't have as much of an emotional impact as I was expecting, but the battles were pretty darn awesome to watch, at least.
As for Rebels: that's a show that's really grown on me. I wasn't sure about it the first time I watched it, which is right after Clone Wars. To me, it didn't seem to have the same grand sense of scale that the earlier show did. But rewatching it and knowing where it was heading, I "got" it much more. One thing I definitely respected a lot more was its focus on brand new characters and how they grow as both a rebel group and as a family. Honestly, I think it's just as good as Clone Wars, just in different ways.
