Roland, Alain & Cuthbert.
I voted for the gas station scene.
I loved the way John C. stepped into the tet so naturally.
that's the spirit!

I had to go with the gas station too,
Tull in my oppinion wasnt a fight but
a macsacre. The others were great
but something about the gas station
it was just so important! And how they
(John C.) stepped up! Wish I could
have been there too!

I agree Linda! Oh I hope the gas station scene wins...Tull was super cool but it wasn't a fight, imo.
and, Gas station was a scene where we saw good things, - great dialog, John Cullum in all his splendor, different reactions of people, Eddie as a real grown-up gunslinger (whatever I think of them) - while Tull was only sick and cruel, and the only thing we could marvel at was Roland's quick reaction and survival skills.

Tull was most definitely a fight. Most of the people at Tull had pitchforks and knives, and although Roland is a complete bad ass, not even he left a battle like that unscathed. Whether or not they stood a chance is a diffrent matter altogether, but a fight it was.
It just felt like fishing in a barrel, with dynamite to me. sorry.

I guess I'm really protective about that whole scene, it's where I fell in love with Roland , that stud muffin
yeah I get that part , he really f***ed that town up, scraped the dirt from his boots and kept on going.I loved it too.

I know the Gas Station was a great scene, loved it.
But the Standoff at the Travellers Rest was a magnificent scene. It really set the scene for just what it meant to be a Gunslinger (and of these 3 only 1 was a qualified 'slinger, and he only just). It had to get my vote.
Tull isn't in the same league as either of these 2 scenes (imho).
it wasn't really a fight scene, though. Much as I love it.

well there was one slingshot ball fired and some bloodshed from that, but i know what you mean Jean.
I was one of the two people that voted for Jake and the slow mutants but I think I'm remembering wrong. Can my vote be changed to the gas station, please?
I was thinking of Jake and Callahan in the Dixie Pig.
