I was torn between Dixie Pig/Blue Heaven, but ultimately I had to go for Dixie Pig. Bad odds, much trouble, ultimate success. And Jake totally proves himself as a gunslinger. A+

Ha, Daggers - that looks like a movie review of some sort.
No, that's TWO THUMBS UP.

Dixie Pig, and I hope it comes winner in the end.
Ask not what bears can do for you, but what you can do for bears. (razz)
When one is in agreement with bears one is always correct. (mae)
bears are back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I like that scene but Callahan died there so somehow I wasn't able to pick it.
Roland would have understood.
it depends on how you look at it (and at death generally). For me it's, above all, the scene where he was saved.

Yeah, it wasn't a sad end but still. I know that he could find his rest and peace at last but still my heart is aching. I am a silly chick you know.
Roland would have understood.
The Dixie Pig. Fight or die.
Dixie Pig, easily my favorite in the whole series. So much awesome drama and meaningful things happen during it.
"It's his eyes, Roland thought. They were wide and terrible, the eyes of a dragon in human form" - Roland seeing the Crimson King for the first time.
"When the King comes and the Tower falls, sai, all such pretty things as yours will be broken. Then there will be darkness and nothing but the howl of Discordia and the cries of the can toi" - From Song of Susannah
Definitely the Dixie Pig. I particularly like this scene bc of the way Jake took charge of the situation before they even walked through the door. Some people say the fight with the Wolves wasn't enough of a test for Jake bc the were just robots, well after fighting through a room of can-toi, taheen and vampires, there should be no question about Jake's skills. That kid is as tough as they come. Also, it was great to see Callahan go out with his faith in both his religion and himself restored. Even Oy got to fight with the Grandfather Fleas.
Dixie Pig was badass but I have to go with my absolutely favorite moment in the DT series, Jericho Hill. I just love how Cuthbert has been shot multiple times and is walking around delusional, shooting and blowing Elds horn.
"As for gunslingers, Roland," Cuthbert says, "I am here. And we are the last."
When two fit, it makes you think
I got the cute one, my woman
She says, "Lovin's all I bring"
And it's her loving that's a wonderful thing.
Lovin' yes we are, it's such a wonderful thing
When two fit it makes you think
See us both in the black
She lays on me so relaxed.

Blue Heaven. The last time the tet fought together.
I put Blue Heaven for the same reason as Monte, but it was hard. I loved the Dixie Pig scene too, it was actually harder for me to read the Pere's death than Eddie's.
