Exactly. Like I mentioned in my previous post, it's probably because Skynet decided to alter it's MO (i.e - Terminators that aren't aware they're machines) after failing to kill Connor in the previous movies.
But if they don't know they are suppose to kill Connor how does that help them? Once they get close a switch is suddenly thrown and they just know what they are suppose to do? I guess we will find out when we watch the movie.
I'm so bummed out about this. This season has been so great.

Well, to begin with, this is the stuff that made me pay attention to John Cameron. After Titanic, not so much.
T3 was okay I guess. Why they ditched the soundtrack motif so well established in the other two is beyond me. I'm a big timpani fan from way back. As for the plot, well...
I have no idea whether I'm supposed to like McG or not. Can't get behind a man who doesn't want to display his whole name. What's he hiding? As for his body of work, I'm happy to see his involvment in Supernatural and Chuck. Pretty much ends there. The trailers are doing their job to heighten my expectations. But to a point, then the anti-hype programming kicks in and floods my consciousness with a healthy dose of cynicism. I have confidence in Bale. That leaked blowout on set only underscores his passion in my mind. Can't trust a person who can't get righteously pissed.

Good point. I think its important to remember this and just hope for the best. I'm expecting new ones to be different, but again, I think the tone of 3 was in the right place.
