I can't believe I didn't post this one sooner - I was going through all of my poems and lyrics to see what I have posted where, and I didn't see this one in my thread here

Blad Voldtekt
The gardens gently whisper
Seem to call your name
In sun the foliage glimmers
In rain it seems more sane
Nature seems to speak
(Jeg elsker deg)
And in darkness the trees
oppress you

You fall on your face
As you try to race away
From the breathing forest itself

In morning, in dawn
Natures long gone
But not at all
For all around you
Are her signs
Her moans and her whines

All a gentle reminder
Of a sadistic trees molest

The trees seem to snicker
As you crawl to find
The way you came
And the trees all dance
Around you as the
Wind bites at your frame

More! And More!
You feel like a whore!

The trees, the plants

As if a rusty knife were

Translations from Norwegian are, to the best of my knowledge, as follows:

Jeg Elsker Deg means "I love you", and is whispered in the background.

The "chorus" translates as such:

"Leaves Rape
In moonlights morning
And the noon of night
To run, or fight
Or lose yourself in
Natures brutal embrace
Until first light?"

Anyone who speaks Norwegian, if I've made mistakes, forgive me and correct me.

I wrote this as a metal song. Leaves Rape, that's the title in English. I love it, it's dark and brutal. Somewhat inspired by the Evil Dead movies, but mostly by the fact that right behind my parents house is a big ravine full of trees, and sometimes I like to imagine people who'd hurt me being hurt by those trees that I've wandered amongst many times in the last seven years.

Summer
The tail-end of spring,
Summer's 'round the bend.
The cloying scents of dust and
Lush fresh flowers in the air.
The breeze, a gentle caress,
Like a lovers welcome touch.
A light cloud wisps by above,
The sun 'neath the hill.
The sky ablaze with colors bright,
And a handsome silhouette.
Tomorrow promises beauty.

Which makes me laugh every time I think about my friend Donald selling me his soul for a Burger King value meal. The motion sensing light where he lives doesn't turn on when he walks by anymore, which is really funny. And kind of scary.

Yeah, that was highly amusing. He doesn't live there anymore - he moved out of town, which is good for him because this town is a pitcher-plant! - but yeah. When he did, the light would not turn on for him, but it worked for everyone else.

Also, I still own his soul. My buddy Andrew tried a couple times to buy it off me, but I'm keeping it. <3
