lol, the magic of technology.
Great stuff Boome! I really love those rear wrap around windows. Do you happen to know (or anyone) what year and make those trucks are?
thanks guys,
the truck "in the desert" is a 1953 Chevy - model 3100
ha ha, then she really wouldn't approve of the stuff in my "nude NSFW" art thread
the name is tongue in cheek (pardon THAT pun) and of course was derived from Van Gogh's painting "Starry Nights" which is integrated into this photo collage.
I like to use fun puns in my titles when I can... part of the creative process.-
note... this was my first attempt at this type photo collaging (which is pretty new to me) and is the least personal favorite of my nude collages so far.
I think I've come a ways since I did this one... but it's definitely a style that I plan on continuing to work at and do more of.
Tonight's pic...
before and after...
it's an Avanti 2 - Studebaker designed it and made the original Avanti's (1962-1963) then the design was bought out and the Avanti 2 was made by a new private company Avanti Corp.
Avanti 2 were custom built from 1965 to 1984 and didn't change much. after that the company changed hand several times and the body/motors/materials changed with ownership.
Not for sure, but I believe this one was a 1976 model. I know it's pre 1983 - when the bumpers became resin molded and changed to square headlight lamps.
I do know the owner claimed it was the original paint job and it only had about 26, 000 miles on it.
version 2: I tweeked last night's photo just a tad to try to get a more 3 dimensional effect - can you tell the difference? better or worse than version 1?
I'm not really a fan of this one. Too plain and "blacked out" for me, you know? That sounded a little racist, lol. But, as far as which version is better, I like the 3D one.
ok shannon... not a fan of the last one... so I decided to add some points of interest in tonight's shot I took (and then edited)
and yes.... there IS an intended sexual innuendo with the "hot rods" and hot girls....
I like it! Do you do the official artwork/promotion work for that bar/event?
today...
Fiero Club Buddies + trip to the shooting range + Lunch at Bone Daddy's afterwards = my newest cart photo(car-art)
featuring my own Fiero...
I don't know what a Bone Daddy's is, but now I wanna eat there.
I like it. Where did the background come from?
that one I culled from the internet, then airbrushed in the foreground
(also airbrushed in the clips on the AR-15s... since I wasn't about to give those gals loaded assault rifles.)
FYI...
the mustang one...
car and foreground I took on a restaurant parking lot (then edited alot), the horse was culled from the internet and background is a shot I took 2 years ago from the back of a catamaran off the Napili coast in Maui, Hawaii
thought I'd play around with this one and create a fake ad for boner daddy's...
Man...your drawings are amazing.
Excellent work, Sir! If I had a hat, I'd take it off.
been a bit busy and not had much time for art.... but here's one I did tonight...
