    This shouldn't have been as close as it was. Vertigo is amazing and within Hitchcock's best three movies of all time.

    I'm a huge Hitchcock fan, but was never big on Vertigo. I know alot of people consider it one of his best, but I don't think it would even make my personal top 10. Maybe I need to rewatch it.

    Agreed. It's a fine film, but kind of mid-tier Hitch for me.
