several groups I haven't voted because haven't seen any of the movies. In this one, only seen one, Ice Station Zebra, which I just watched Tuesday night. So it got my only vote here.

Did you enjoy it? That is part of the contest's intent. I remember really liking it years ago.

Hara-kiri is an amazing movie. It says so much about human nature, and has one of the most unnervingly effective scenes I've ever seen in film. Sure, it's a slow burn and most of the film is a guy sitting on a mat telling a story--but what a story. Whether this movie moves on or not is immaterial. Anyone reading this who decides to check it out will be rewarded.

One of my favorite films and books from the era. I often went on tears of reading different genre's before settling on predominantly Horror and Sci-Fi. Can't even begin to count the number of spy/murder stories I've read in the past. One of my favorite other authors as well along with Lawrence Sanders. Great stuff indeed & Ice Station Zebra is a great film that I believe still holds up to this day and age.

That it is, my friend. A truly landmark film that influenced a wealth of content for the future including the present (did that make sense? lol)

Agreed. Surprised with all the horror fans here it isn't doing better. It's one of my favorites.

Hopefully there's one more vote out there, to move it into a tiebreaker.
