    Honestly, there are 8-10 movies still in the tournament (for now), that I would vote over Alien. Several will be eliminated this round though.

    In reality these two should be much, much closer - Apocalypse Now is arguably the better film. But as I mentioned before, high-concept/blockbuster films usually corral the bulk of the votes in these tournaments.

    I told y'all already. Alien is going to win. Everything else is fighting for second.

    Apocalypse Now would have made it a little further if these were matched up like they do in the NCAA tournament. You know: 1 vs 16, 2 vs 15, etc. But it was not going to win in the end, so I guess it doesn't matter.
