    Even though Airport is considered one of the first disaster films of its kind, by the time I got around to seeing it, it didn't have the same punch. I had already seen so many other films of its nature that it felt derivative, which is unfortunate because it's all the films I saw that were spawned from Airport that actually should have felt derivative.

    Halloween is doing surprisingly well. Makes me even more surprised Black Christmas didn't get much love.

    I would love it if Halloween won the whole thing. I think it's a movie that appeals to most people. Glad to see it still going strong.

    I feel like it's a movie everyone has seen numerous times. It'll be interesting how it fares as it gets closer the finals and has to go up against the likes of Alien, Godfather, Jaws.... I hope it makes it far though.

    It redefined and strengthened the horror industry at the time. It was truly a scary movie at the time.
