Just recently re-watched it. Kind of fascinating, given our recent history.

It was just running on, Starz or Showtime a month or two ago. When I see it in the guide it's like, Shawshank. I have to immediately switch to it or hit record right away. A great film about an awful thing. Hoffman & Redford just nailed it as Woodward and Bernstein. And, if I recall, wasn't it the recently deceased, Hal Holbrook who portrayed, "Deep Throat"?

EDIT: man, never realized it before, but apparently the '70's films are my jam!!! lol lol lol

The Houston Astros cheated Major League Baseball from 2017-18!!!! Is that how we teach our kids to play the game now?????

I love newspapers films. When I watched Spotlight, I immediately had to go back and watch All The President's Men - great stuff.

Hell yeah! That's what these tournaments are all about my dude. Reconnecting with our appreciation of classics from decades past

Although not on the same tier as these two, check out Kill The Messenger with Jeremy Renner if you haven't already. A solid entry in the genre.

Here's a podcast I listen to. They discuss All the President's Men. They are doing a series called 7 From '76 where they discuss 7 great films that came out in 1976.

    7 From '76

Also, a couple of recent political thrillers that were pretty good were Official Secrets and The Report.

Am I the only one who has noticed how many 70s films had super long titles?
