If we don't reach $2,500 by February 28, 2021 then I will run the site until the end of October, 2021. I won't accept donations after 2/28/2021

I don't have the energy to beg, and for whatever reasons, several large donors from the past haven't donated.
It sucks to ask for donations, and I feel like a street-corner beggar. In the past people were eager and very generous to donate. This year it seems like people have to choose from one of the many small press editions, or donating a bit here, and the decision is clear.

Well, the COVID CRISIS has almost everyone hurting a little bit at least I'm sure, but still this site is made available to everyone at all times and has been here to actually help everyone through the "Self-Quaranting" and "Shelter In-Doors" we have all had to endure. Seems only right that everyone show a little gratitude and support by contributing a few sheckles here and there. We're only a little more than a Thousand bucks short at this juncture. So if EVERYONE were able to pony up a $10 or a $20 spot I'm sure we would hit the target total with ease!!!!

So, come on all you folks who use gthe site for its many features. Entertainment, Commerce, Community, Friendship, Sporting Events and even the Great Movie Tournament!!! That's not even mentioning perhaps the GREATEST KING REFERENCE CATALOG ON THE INTERNET!!!! How many times have you sought an answer to a King or other author related issue or topic and got it right here from this amazing resource and it's inherengt community? Ask yourself this question, where would you be, where would you go if TDT.Org was no longer here and available?

I recall folks screaming in agony and paid when the site experienced a temporary outage due to technical difficulties. What would you folks do if it was gone altogether??????????? So, crack that piggy bank and reach down deep and give what you can. You don't realize what you have until it's gone!!!!! I know I am giving everything I can. What about you????

And Jerome, considering the impact that the Corona Virus has had on everyone over the past year perhaps it would be wise to consider extending the donation acceptance date a month or so to allow, in the very least, for tax returns to start to come in and what not. If you're willing to let it run until October then why not let donations continue to come in after February? It's something to consider anyway. And I don't see you as a "Beggar" in any way shape or form. This site is nothing if not a collective community in which no one person should have to bear the entire costs to keep it running. If you visit the site regularly and avail yourself of the things it has to offer it's only right to throw a little of whatever you can into the kitty to keep it up and runiing for all of us. Am I wrong here folks? Or maybe for once, Merlin has a valid, coherent and salient point? I'm not saying all this on my behalf, but on behalf of everyone that visits this site. We're all reponsible to whatever portion we can contribute, collectively. Right?

Let's ALL do our respective part to help insure this site is live, online and available to all who come here!!!!

Come on people. Think of all the fees you saved selling and buying stuff through here on the free classifieds thread.
All the information on here is worth a small yearly fee. You can't expect someone to foot the entire bill for site we all use.
Not to mention...people love to show off their expensive purchases on here. If you can post pics of the books you have spent hundreds of dollars or thousands of dollars on you can throw a $20 or more at Jerome and the site.
