Still haven't gotten around to seeing JoJo Rabbit and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. I'm pretty sure my votes would be different had I seen those two.

Two of my favorites of 2019. This is a strong group.

According to these numbers, people prefer Hateful Eight to Hollywood, the two QT movies here. I thought it was the other way around.

I love them both equally, but not sure which one I'd pick in a head to head match up. The Hateful Eight is a whodunnit with interesting archetypes and amazing back and forth, and OUATIH is a love letter to film lovers and a meta commentary on the passage of time and embracing the twilight of our golden years.

Gosh, what a great director Tarantino is.

And after his next (last) film, we will have to change "is" to "was." Very sad.

has he confirmed that 100% tho? I wouldn't be surprised to see him stick around for a couple more films, he's still way too young to retire.

I might put Once Upon a Time in Hollywood above The Hateful Eight, but it's a hard choice, and it might flip flop depending on my mood. Both were excellent films, and I hope Tarantino never retires.

Wow, Wreck-It Ralph getting no love.

For all the talk I always hear of Hollywood being full of recycled ideas, a comic book movie or part of a franchise, it was none of those things. It was one of the most unique movies I had seen in years and I really enjoyed it.
Hearts are tough, she said, most times hearts don't break, and I'm sure that's right . . . but what about then? What about who we were then? What about hearts in Atlantis?
