Got this on Kindle last night and finished it already. I really liked it. I feel some of his books post-2000 have bad dialogue for young people (reading Under the Dome at the moment...), and this doesn't have that problem. Great narrative style. I'm interested to see what people think of a certain connection to another book...

HCC doesn't typically indicate printings, AFAIK. With Colorado Kid, they just printed a million copies (supposedly).

Not too far into but I'm liking what I'm reading thus far.

I'm about 70 pages in. A typical fun King read. You have to suspend disbelief a bit about his child characters that are stereotypes and bear little resemblance to post 1970 kids. Little plot tidbits that remind me of Dead Zone, Firestarter etc.

Only Jeff's is shipping on the 9th so he can make an unboxing video. Another Universe needs that marketing to sell the rest of the signed Laters that are just lingering on the shelf.

Finished Later. Amazing! One of his top tens to me. Definitely one of his 3 best since 2000. Duma Key, Revival, and Later. Nice pace with little to no sidetracking. All meat and no filler.

Just finished it as well and it was quite enjoyable. I kept thinking it would have fit well in one of the novella collections.

Agreed (except about Revival). I really loved this one. Definitely the best of the Hardcase books by far and probably number 5 for me out of the 21st-century stuff (11/22/63, Doctor Sleep, The Dark Tower, and The Outsider top my list).

I finished it as well. A good read but not a great one. I enjoyed Joyland much more than this book.

A lot of the storylines ended up going nowhere and the twist at the end about Uncle Harry was creepy but more in a Woody Allen way than a good way. That didn't seem necessary to the plot. The narration was also strange in that it sometimes appeared to be in real time and sometimes told in retrospect long after events (i.e. Later). Just a bit distracting to go back and forth.
