    It's not the best Bond film but it was competent enough for me to vote for it. I recently rewatched all of them and yeah, Quantum is extremely mediocre. It didn't help that it followed the excellent Casino Royale either.

    My personal Craig Bond ranking is

    1. Casino Royale
    2. Skyfall
    3. Spectre
    4. Quantum of Solace

    I'm quite let down that Calvary won't even make it past the first round, but I take great solace in the fact that I really enjoyed the movie, and that will suffice.

    Just watched The Handmaiden. Wow, what a great film. I loved it. I feel bad that I didn't even hear about this film prior to this competition. Not sure how I missed it when it was released. Hopefully it can get a few more votes and move on.

    Yes, thanks for mentioning it. I guess I've been slacking with films lately because I'm still surprised I hadn't even heard that Chan-wook Park had released a movie. Also it reminded me that I think we forgot to nominate Thirst for the previous competition

    First, I still prefer Parasite.

    Second, The Handmaiden is a delightfully intricate film meticulously weaved together by a director working at the pinnacle of his craft. It's a visually stunning film as well.
