    I am not understanding all the love for Aliens. Raiders is such an iconic movie. While Aliens is good, it doesn't come close to a top 10 of the 80's for me.

    If Raiders is on TV I will stop channel surfing and watch anytime. If Aliens is on, I will think "naw, I have it on Blu-ray, if I really want to watch it again I'll pop it in ... next channel"

    I love both franchises and these movies specifically so I don't know how to pick. This is another case where I wish we used March Madness type rules where the best meets the worst instead of the best meets the mid-range. Then Aliens could slaughter Beetlejuice or whichever movie just slipped into the top eight and Raiders would have a chance at the top four.
