    Really, really tough one, but I went with "Princess Bride" as the more timeless classic of the two films.

    The Breakfast Club is ageless. I can't believe how relevant it is even today. The high schoolers I teach still love it, even 35 years later.

    Back around 1989 I had a college roommate who had to watch TBC every night to fall asleep. Our bedroom had two sets of bunk beds, and I had one of the upper bunks. Every night he would fall asleep half way through, and I would be the only one who couldn't fall asleep when a movie is being played, so I would have to jump down and turn off the VCR every night. So annoying.

    EDIT: even though I should hate the movie, I still voted for it.
