Clash of the Titans was the very first VHS tape I ever watched. It was late 1981 or early 1982 I guess and my parents had just bought this new-fangled machine called a "VCR." They rented Clash of the Titans for our first test drive. So I voted for it, partly out of nostalgia, but mainly because it's a rip-roarin' adventure with great effects and humor. Plus, T&A; which, for a 13-year-old boy consigned to PG movies, was very welcome.

Nostalgia is the right word. Gotta love the work of Ray Harryhousen.

Predator is a quintessential science fiction/action classic. Lean, mean, and full to the brim of brilliant touches that make it a timeless flick of the 80's and beyond.

And two awesome films not eliminated!

Hearts are tough, she said, most times hearts don't break, and I'm sure that's right . . . but what about then? What about who we were then? What about hearts in Atlantis?
