I can't even begin to list the number of times I've seen A Christmas Story. That's one of the few films that will never get old for me.

I know there's lots of people that feel that way about the movie. I've never liked it, and was always like "ughh change the channel" when the marathons would come on around Christmas.

I'm sure it's also partly because I grew up watching the movie. I was watching it long before the marathons started on tv, so it does have a nostalgic feeling for me.

A Christmas Story really nailed the time period. Growing up, I always thought it was a 50s film. That's how good of a job they did.

I just watched Major League earlier today. Even though it was the edited version. Still a great movie.
Hearts are tough, she said, most times hearts don't break, and I'm sure that's right . . . but what about then? What about who we were then? What about hearts in Atlantis?
