This was a tough one.

AAWWIL for sure, but had hard time deciding between Airplane and the Wall, and went with Airplane, because it is mostly the soundtrack I like on the wall.

The first time I watched the wall was the first time I got wasted without my parents supervision. (I was 18 or 19). Needless to say, I didn't know what the hell was going on.

Really? I think The Wall is one of the greatest films ever. Airplane! would also probably make my Top 150 list. Fascinating how varying the human brain can be....

It was some 25 years before I saw The Wall while sober. I was usually tripping or taking lots of speed. It's amazing how much more I noticed when sober.

With anything involving Floyd (the albums, the concerts), it's usually best enjoyed with a clear head, although many seek the opposite experience.

Helllllllllllll no son! Watching Waters perform The Wall ripped outta my mind with all the sounds and pyrotechnics is one of my most treasured concert-going experiences. Everybody in that place was sparking up and Rogers even had them throw a spotlight into this suite inside the arena that was hotboxing it.

No way in hell would being sober had made that experience even better. They're referred to as acid rock for a reason.

I have to agree with St Troy here. I can never understand why some people spend hundreds of $'s to see a concert and then get stoned/wasted out of their mind to the point they don't know what is going on, and probably won't remember the details the next day.

There are 3 albums that I can think of off the top of my head that should be listened to with headphones and a clear mind to enjoy all the full nuances of the music: The Dark Side of the Moon, The Wall, and Quadrophenia (by the Who).
