Oof. The choices are a bit more difficult this round. Had to think about what to pick between Die Hard and Big. I like them both but for different reasons. Went with Big because I think it's gonna need more help.
Hearts are tough, she said, most times hearts don't break, and I'm sure that's right . . . but what about then? What about who we were then? What about hearts in Atlantis?

Why is one of the best vampire movies ever losing to a movie that although it represents an iconic franchise is really the worst movie in the franchise?

I like both but I just voted for The Lost Boys because I far prefer that one over the other.

Big and E.T. have in common that they resonate absolutely perfectly with every person that's ever seen a movie...except me.

I partially agree with this. I seconded E.T. just because I knew it had to happen and wanted to move things along and I liked the movie when I was younger but once again, no real desire to revisit that one either. Big ain't for me. Tom Hanks has done so many more great films than this one. I do really like the Fortune-Teller Machine/Attraction thingy though. There's a cool POP of it.

I was never a fan of Big or ET. Saw them both when I was younger (possibly even a couple of times) but they never resonated with me, nor do I have a desire to revisit them.

I always liked Big, granted I probably haven't seen it in 15+ years. ET on the other hand I never really liked. There's actually a lot of movies in this tournament that kinda fall into that category for me. "Movies that people love that I don't like".

I like Big but I can live with it not moving on.

The Lost Boys absolutely needs to advance though. Quintessential 80's movie. Kiefer Sutherland... both Coreys... and how can you forget sexy sax guy!
