    That ship looks like a cheesy piece of fiberglass.
    It knocks what is otherwise a brilliant film down a few pegs, for me, certainly below ET and Terminator II in my eyes. Let's face it, this group is loaded while some of the others don't offer anything to top these three.

    You don't have to vote for the Special Edition, and it was released in 1993. The 1989 original is a nearly perfect film.

    Wasn't anyone who was a kid in the 80s see Red Dawn in theaters and think the USSR was about to invade their town and shoot up their school? Why doesn't this movie have more votes?

    I do like Spaceballs, but They Abyss is a masterpiece. Still really bummbed it's out.
