    When I was a kid my parents had a seasonal site at a campground in Wisconsin and for a little while, the campground owners had a black bear cub. His name was Xanadu. This was when I was like 5 or 6 and always thought his name was spelled with a "Z".

    I don't know the story of WHY they had him or whatever happened to him but that's the first thing I think of when I hear the name. I know almost nothing about the movie though

    It's cheesy and amazing, and also Gene Kelly's final film. Plus an ELO soundtrack.

    I grew up with four women in the house. I saw a lot of boobies and always wondered why people made such a big deal out of it (them) being in a movie.

    I was always looking for a certain other part which I believe I may have first seen in A Room with a View...

    I actually never saw The Neverending Story until about 12 years ago when my friend made me. I really liked it but I have a feeling I would have loved it as a child.

    Yeah I think part of it is that you had to see it as a child as it's meant for children, certainly, but I have watched it a number of times as an adult and it completely holds up.

    I saw it when I was young and just remember not liking it. But it's been so long I honestly have no recollection of anything that happened in it. I've thought about going back and rewatching it but haven't gotten around to it yet. Last fall when I headed out to the Cape, the drive in there was playing a double feature of The Neverending Story and Labriynth
