Easton Press had a nice big hardcover of the first 3 available recently, but it seems to be out of print.

Yep, EP put out The Foundation Trilolgy and Prelude to Foundation as part of the Masterpieces of Science Fiction. Late 80's and signed.
Later they put out a set of all of them and a slipcased edition of the trilogy (one volume)

The Folio Society also did a slipcased ed. of the trilogy (three volumes) last year I think.

Here's the latest Easton Press one, the only one of those mentioned I have.
And also some more Asimov just for the heck of it.

The Folio Society edition of the 'Foundation', 'Foundation & Empire' and 'Second Foundation' trilogy is back in print as of last week. This is on my list but not sure when I'll be placing my next FS order as the shipping prices are pretty high these days. I do really like the Alex Wells art they used. Probably will give it a few months and see if I can wait till their Robert Macfarlane book comes out (presumably 'The Old Ways') to save on shipping.

I was going to mention Phantasia press, but I think they only released signed editions of the later robot novels.

    Thanks a heap, fella's!!!!

    Got a link? lol

J/K Easton doesn't seem to have any in print currently. I went with the Folio Society version w/Alex Wells art. Thanks again guys!!! I really appreciate the assist. This site and community is so fucking awesome and things like this serve to remind me when I forget sometimes!!!

This is something my collection was sorely missing!!! Have paid too much attention to just, King, Horror classics and Tolkien the last few years, I gotta get better and broader and this is a very good start!! next will have to be, I, Robot, Dune and Hubbard. i was just obsessed with Sci-Fi for a long time, but never paid enough attention to spiffy collector editions as I should have. Now to get my grandkids reading and appreciating this stuff, Kids these days just do NOT read enough!!! If you can't charge it up or watched, they won't be bothered. My mission is to change that shit!!! LOL

Yeah, I have THE ROBOTS OF DAWN and ROBOTS AND EMPIRE from Phantasia Press, the low-class signed, numbered editions.
I was offered beautiful, lettered editions of each, one of them unique, but had to pass as they were a bit expensive.
However, I think they are still available if anyone wants to send me $4000 or so.
And you are right about Asimov, Bill. He is worth re-reading, something I should consider doing myself.

Doubleday started doing signed/numbered books of Asimov's latest releases late in his career, so I bought them.
A book dealer I know used to visit Asimov in New York. Shortly before his death the book dealer told me on his last visit Asimov looked extremely ill and he didn't think he'd last very long.
He was right. At the time, blood transfusions were not checked for the AIDs virus, and Asimov was infected.

I was in Buffalo, Wyoming recently and half the shops in town are selling Craig Johnson novels. He apparently lives in that area. Mostly signed copies of his "Longmire" series which ran on Netflix. You can order signed copies from the "Buffalo Supply Company". Mostly paperbacks but a few hardcovers. The books are pretty good for anyone who likes mysteries.

Nice! I spent my childhood summers in Buffalo, my grandparents lived there. Still go up hunting in the area occasionally - town hasn't changed too much over the years. The Bighorn mountains are an amazing part of the country - absolutely beautiful place to backpack & fish.

I've been re-reading "The Foundation Trilogy" and came across this video which was great in two aspects. One, is the Irish accent which is quaint and two is the interview in the very beginning. If you are concerned about spoilers you may want to click off after that interview but, I think you may enjoy what precedes it. The following content covers a general plot consensus of the 3 books which IMHO doesn't spoil the wonderful read of what I think bears consideration of the greatest Sci=Fi series of all time.

I think I'm the only person here who collects Mike Resnick books, but I finally found some information about his last book, THE LORD OF NIGHTMARES, the final volume of The Dreamscape trilogy, from his daughter Laura's website:

    May 28, 2021

First up on my plate, though, is completing my father’s final book, Lord of Nightmares, the third/final book a trilogy. Mike Resnick, my dad, died last year before he could complete it, and the last thing he asked me to do was to finish writing it for him. Fortunately, it’s mostly completed and he left good notes for the remaining portion.

I freely admit I am not a fan of Laura Resnick's work, but I am still highly looking forward to the eventual publication of this book. Mike was such a friendly author it seems almost everyone who was a fan of his either met him or interacted with him somehow on a personal level. His books about Fandom and his convention travels and attendances are highly entertaining.

I've always meant to "fix" the criminal lack of Resnick in my reading. Every time I've run across a short story of his in any anthology, going back decades now- it's always a stand out, and I mean to pick up more of his stuff. What do you recommend?
