Pretty much everyone at the Portland stop kept theirs and many of us, including myself, got Joe's signature on them. I have a photo of mine here: http://forum.cemeterydance.com/showt...lection/page59

I read on another forum that Joe said at one of his signings that he signed 1500 for PS...so the limitation may be higher than previous Hill books w/ PS. Hopefully that -- and the profusion of signed trade copies out there -- will keep the price point at a very reasonable level.

Joe Part 2
Heading down to Manchester NH in a couple of hours to see him at the Barnes and Nobles. As there were no kazoo's at the Portsmouth event, I'm hoping for the best.

Received my Barnes & Noble signed copy of The Fireman yesterday. Same as the 'regular' hardback edition, only the ISBN listed on the backside of the dustjacket is the B&N ISBN. Fortunately my copy was undamaged. The book was packaged in a tight carton box/sleeve, no extra protection but way better than having a book tossed in a large box without additional packaging material. That must be the only advantage for us living abroad that have to pay a lot of shipping costs

So i'm at the Manchester signing and was told that Joe hurt his back today and will be doing a very abbreviated event tonight. Still gonna try to get Dez's proofs in front of him......

Manchester was a short but fun event. i missed out on the kazoo, but I haven't given up hope yet!
Because of the shortness, he limited siginings to 2 per person, and no doodles that I saw. He was however as fun and as funny as usual. Looking forward to Nashua in a couple of weeks.
