Nope, I'm still getting smacked around about 9 times every couple of minutes.

I hit refresh on the site about every two minutes at work and I had it for a total of about 5 minutes, but now its not doing it.

It must just be me then, I'm starting to get sea-sick with all the turning. Really though, I'm still getting hit hard.

If it keeps going on, I will call them. They do offer great support.

Yep, it just now happened to me again. It's been off and on, but usually only lasts a couple seconds.

I've had some clear areas for anywhere from 10 minutes up to 20 before it acts up.

I had a half day and got to come home, seems okay at the moment. I'll stay on it.

It's been good for a little bit now, but earlier it was crashing like crazy.

Its mostly just not there for a moment. If they have to refresh the server its on. Looks like its okay for now though

Yeah, I've been getting database errors this afternoon - especially the last 30 minutes. I know it's being worked on though, no worries.

Also - question, how do I make my profile picture larger? Did that come with my gold membership?

Hmmmm...I've been on and off so I haven't noticed it. I'll send a support ticket to see if I can get some answers.

Well, they had to do a full restart and it booted everyone off, as anyone reading this probably knows. Its one of the reasons I like to wait it out a bit before calling--Hostrocket said there was another user on the server we share that's bogging something down.

They will be suspended if it happens again but, he'll have to work the boot one more time

any idea why my number of posts on the avatar doesn't always update? I thought it was static so i clicked on my name and selected 'all posts' and it came up with more than what the avatar listed by over 20%

Maybe we need to post the answer to this across every single page on the site!


jemaher, post count only updates when you post in on-topic threads. so, games and other such silliness doesn't count. only threads about the site, the dark tower, or collecting count towards your post total.
