Flanagan is the right guy, Netflix is the right environment - this has vast potential.

Eastasia has always taught college students to feel pride or shame according to their race.
I'm pretty excited to see what's in store.
You don't know my kind.....You don't my mind.....Dark necessities are part of my design.....
I'm torn.
It's a GREAT show but I want it to be canceled so I can move into that house!!! It's beautiful.
All that's left of what we were is what we have become.
Someone told me the next shoot is in a different house. When do I move in?

When will it be released?
Fully on board with this. I thought S1 was -barring a few pacing issues- pretty phenomenal.
Yeah. I can't wait for this one.

I haven't seen the first season, I just jumped into the second season and I have to say I think this show is perfectly splendid.

Really? I'm on episode 6 and am finding it to be incredibly slow. The first season was amazing, but this just feels blah. There's no sense of urgency and I'm not really pulled in by the plot. And I want to strangle both of those kids, especially "perfectly splendid" Flora. Everyone I've talked to also can't stand those kids.
A NEW GAME BEGINS
Two episodes into S2, really digging it so far. Also, does anyone else get slightly distracted when they reuse actors for anthology series? Like, bro don't do scare her like that, she was your sister in the last season for chrissakes!
I'm 4 episodes in and enjoying it, although not nearly as much as the first season. I was expecting them to take a similar approach as the first season, where it was a new story inspired by the events of the book. This one seems to be more of a direct adaptation of the book (with some stuff added in).
Only the gentle are ever really strong.
Haha. I actually enjoy that aspect of it a lot. It's fun to see them in completely different roles. I especially liked the the contrast of the guy playing Luke last season and Peter this season. I thought Luke was such a heartbreaking character, so seeing him pull off being someone so despicable this time was pretty interesting.
So I finished Bly Manor last night. And.....

Must...resist...clicking!
Maybe I'll watch more tonight.

I have to agree that season 1 gets better as you go along. If I'm being honest, I felt both seasons were pretty slow to develop, but I ended up loving season 1's conclusion.
Add me to the list! I found the first couple episodes of season 1 very slow and hard to get through, but it gets really good and faster and creepier.
