Watched the 1st episode, not really sure what to think yet.
My only real complaint is that it seemed rushed. (whole lotta shit happened in 1 episode)

“The battle between good and evil is endlessly fascinating because we are participants every day.” - Stephen King
watched the first 3 episodes last night with the family - including my 11 y/o son - he was a little nervous at times - but was appropriate for him

I watched the first two episodes. I enjoyed them. The only thing I noticed that could be considered by some as inappropriate for children was the aloha scene. I thought it was innocent and humorous.
"One day you're going to figure out that everything they taught you was a lie."
I thought the first episode was good. For some reason, this show reminds me a bit of Netflix's Lost in Space. The kid is a lot like Will Robinson. Also a hint of the Netflix's Hill House.

Finished the series and loved it. Better than Stranger Things IMO. Haven’t read the graphic novels but will as a result on the tv show.

I'm a big fan of the Locke & Key Comics and Graphic Novels. I've also collected the same number "key" set from Skelton Crew Studios and the S/L's from Subterranean. I just completed watching the series this morning and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The young man, Jackson Robert Scott, who played Georgie in IT plays the lead character, Bode, in the Netflix series and does a great job with the role. I thought the Netflix series did an exceptional job being true to the comics and the director's interpretation of the Head Key interaction with the characters was very well done. The series is suspenseful and well paced. Also, the ending leaves you begging for Season 2. Clearly, I'm biased as a fan of the comics, but was happy to see an adaptation that did justice to the Locke & Key world and fan.
I enjoyed it as well and thought it got better as it went along.

Only the gentle are ever really strong.
Rose and I finished the first six episodes two weeks ago, then it was her mom's week, I got her back yesterday for the week and we finished it up last night.
Loved it.
I should note the town you guys see is called Lunenburg and is right beside Mahone Bay which is where the show about Oak Island is filmed. It’s a breathtaking place to visit and is pretty year round.

Much to my surprise, my ten-year old was engrossed by this show. Knew all the characters by name and asked endlessly if we could watch another episode. I thought it was a decent show. Nothing that I would watch twice. Like a lobotomized version of many other successful YA/fantasy series. Old Joe had a brief cameo toward the end. Man, does he look like the 1970s version of his dad.
I binged this in about a week. Well worth it.
All that's left of what we were is what we have become.
We finished it last night and really enjoyed it.
I bought the six hardback comic books a few years ago and may finally get around to reading them now.

Variety brings word that Netflix has renewed the series adaption Locke & Key for a second season. The series is based on the comic book franchise of the same name by Joe Hill and Gabriel Rodriguez. The first season available now to stream on Netflix.
Was the first season any good? I loved the graphic novel and had been waiting for the show for ages. Then it got here and the first episode was so forgettable I never had the desire to go back.
