Wow, a couple of 1s huh?
One of them was me. Hated this book. It was so disjointed and felt all over the place. It was a struggle to get through.
I love this book, it's not as good as the one that follows it, so I cant give it a 5. It's definitely not an easy read the first time, but once you have read the other books and know Roland, it's a real insight to his focus and passion for the tower.

It took me three tries to get into this book, but by the time I finally go through, I loved it.

I had to give it 4.5 only because what follows is all 5.
One of the first ones I read by King. I should probably read it again before passing judgment but from what I remember, it gets a 3 from me.
This was my favorite of the DT series.
