    I don’t quite recall the survey, but wasn’t there a stipulation that the books requested were by someone other than Stephen King? Maybe it wasn’t this survey but I remember there being something like that on one of them.

    That was EXACTLY how that question was phrased in both the 2019 and 2020 part of the Survey that asked for you to pick a top 3 non-King. And even though Paul never clarified which survey Exorcist was #1 on, I'm guessing it was the late 2019 one based on production schedule. And in 2019, we all had horror on the brain. That said, I know I put Pillars of the Earth in my 2019 survey and fairly sure my other ones were Exorcist and Boy's Life. Yet I also know for sure I added Ghost Story too. Was 2019 a top 5 and 2020 a top 3?

    Sorry for the glare/reflection, but this display in downtown Calistoga made me think of Misery, and more particularly, Suntup's edition of Misery.

    seriously considering getting one of these wireless keyboards...

    "A real limited edition, far from being an expensive autograph stapled to a novel, is a treasure. And like all treasures do, it transforms the responsible owner into a caretaker, and being a caretaker of something as fragile and easily destroyed as ideas and images is not a bad thing but a good one...and so is the re-evaluation of what books are and what they do that necessarily follows." - Stephen King

    I've read a few reviews and watched a couple of product demo videos. They are full travel keys like you would have on quality Cherry switch type keyboards and have a nice 'typewriter click' sound. (although that may get annoying to anyone around you!)
    If you are used to a recent Macbook with short travel butterfly keys, it will probably seem strange at first.

    And yes, the cost is quite high! I cant actually find anyone with stock right now...

    - Many (most?) of the people the Suntup poll went to were connected through TDT (King being our common denominator);

    - DS is noted (I believe) in the King community for A) being great and B) never having had a deluxe edition (I believe I've seen, on this site, the experts say the same, and I've checked the catalog (which is my friend))

    ...I'd thought all of the above would add up to a shitload of requests for DS (perhaps it did).

    FYI, for those who are wondering, Suntup's least requested title was Shadowland by Peter Straub, which was requested by precisely one person (me).
    Wrong. The least requested book was The Butcher Boy by Patrick McCabe. It drew a negative 5 response. I voted for it and 6 others unvoted it. I don’t know how they did it.

    70 pages left. It is fantastic. Great pacing. Well written. Creepy and the movies both capture the spirit and feel but book is much different.

    I loved Brother and I've wanted to read Seed but I've avoided reading it so the first time I read it will be the numbered edition.

    Anyone here getting a remarque for their copy from Dolce Paganne? If I had a little more spending money I probably would have. Love her work and I wouldn't mind her doing more art for another Suntup book.
