Oh man, Suntup editions of Jurassic Park, Congo, or Sphere would be AMAZING!

yeah thats from Paul's weekend group...
    Spoiler:
"A real limited edition, far from being an expensive autograph stapled to a novel, is a treasure. And like all treasures do, it transforms the responsible owner into a caretaker, and being a caretaker of something as fragile and easily destroyed as ideas and images is not a bad thing but a good one...and so is the re-evaluation of what books are and what they do that necessarily follows." - Stephen King

And Hill House did both of course.

After the Hill House limited editions (and the others), I would hope Paul would negotiate for some other worthy books by the prolific Neil Gaiman. Just not another Ocean at the End of the Lane nor The Graveyard Book, please.

For a two book set (not series)...
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory AND James and the Giant Peach.
Pretty much any two books by Michael Chrichton, Chuck Palahniuk or Margaret Atwood.
Chuck would be nice, my personal favorites are Diary, Lullaby, Fight Club... haven’t read Survivor yet.

Man. Crichton was one hell of a storyteller. Though not his best book, the opening scene of Airframe - for me - is unforgettable.

Same can be said of the entering of the ship in Sphere. Or the approach in the helicopter.

I was going to suggest Diary instead of Haunted. Or Rant. Or Adjustment Day. Really I would love any Chuck book.

And secondly, no doubt! I better be very careful what I leave in the frame when I do those broadcasts. BTW, that red article of clothing is in fact a Mister Rogers sweater. The reason it's on the desk is because I have not figured out how to wash it. The instructions are a little complicated for my simple undomesticated brain. Something about hand washing and not tumble drying! Um, okay. Not sure I have time to hand wash my clothes in between making books. And no tumble drying!? Wait, I do remember as a child we had a clothes line with wooden pegs. I wonder if I could buy one of those. So anyway, it has been sitting there for some time, but I'd really like to wear it.

You have to fill up your sink with water and some Woolite. Then you let that sweater take a bath and swirl it around. Rinse. Then lay flat to dry. Towels will work on top of your dryer or you can buy a drying rack. There ya go.

Or just take it to your dry cleaners.
Wanted: Human skin edition of The Book of the Dead. Will accept PC copy.

With the numbered edition bound in red sweater fabric, of course.

I hope everybody reads the new email news letter from Suntup. Some good news in there for some people. Plus it's under the Blog post on the Suntup site.
Slowly upping the numbered S\L to 350 to give more people a chance.

Oh no Paul is messing with my retirement!!! In all seriousness I like the changes especially the limit of one per person/household even though there are ways around that. I'm excited for the upcoming releases even if my wallet isn't.

I also really like the one copy per household rule. It’s a great way to ensure that the extra copies will go into the hands of individual collectors, direct from the publisher.

Yea, there were at least two books that allowed people to buy more then one copy. I know people might want two so one could be a gift, but the limit of one means more people will have
a chance, like you say Peter.

I was happy to get my first 2 books from Suntup that I ordered directly from Suntup. But they both arrived with some problems. Let me know if I'm being too nitpicky because that could be the case as well

    Here's pics of Brother:

Pics of dinged I Am Legend slipcase:

Not if the shipping box was the problem or the books were like this anyway.

The box looks like it got smashed in somewhat. I was expecting the box with the foam fitted padding like others have got. I don't know if that's reserved for certain orders or not. Did anyone else have this issue with Brother?

It's hard to tell how deep those creases are on Brother but I'll say that mine looks very similar. I think it's a natural consequence of having the rounded headband - the pages are somewhat "pinched" in on the first and last signatures (the section of folded pages).

The line of what is "nitpicky" and not varies pretty widely by collector, and I'll say that I'm on the nitpickier end and Brother doesn't bug me. But that's just me! I do agree though, it's nice to have other people's opinions as a guide, especially a bunch of other folks who have the book...

I was thinking this as well re brother. Likely a product of the binding process.

I’d reach out to Paul to see if he has any slip cases lying around for IAL.

I just got an email from Suntup saying it was normal. I had a feeling that could be the case, I'm glad I got confirmation from others that have the book and from directly from Suntup. Thanks, guys!
