Well, that would save me a month or one book in that month if that happens.

CLUB STEPHEN KING (french website about STEPHEN KING, since 1992) : on : Facebook | Twitter | Instagram
------------------------------------------------
Received The Silence of the Lambs numbered edition today! Perfect counterpart to Red Dragon with the production quality.
This might be my favorite Suntup slipcase. The feel of the fabric with the moths fluttering around in the darkness. Brilliant work from Paul and team!
It was hell's season, and the air smelled of burning children
I like when people have a sense of humor. Someone submitted the short story survey with one choice: "IT".
Lol! I'm a fast reader, and I always wish Stephen King's books went on for a few thousand pages.
I have to dig up some short stories for the survey. I have a few authors whose stories have stuck with me, but I'll have to go browse the shelves later to get the story titles.
I went the classic route with stories/novellas from King, Matheson, Charles Beaumont, Ray Bradbury, and Karl Edward Wagner. I had some other more contemporary stories/novellas in mind as well, but I’d love to see some important vintage tales get the archival treatment they deserve.
My numbered Silence came in. Very grateful to own a copy as a signed Silence of the Lambs was something I never thought would be possible for me to obtain. I'm also appreciative Paul made the book easier to get by opening up the numbered allotment to 350 with the previous book as there's no way I could afford this on the secondary market.

I love everything about SoTL. One of the best IMHO.

For the survey, I put down:
Orange Is For Anguish, Blue For Insanity by David Morrell
Morrell is the author of First Blood and other Rambo novels.
I don't think he's written much horror, which is a shame - this is one of my favorite short stories ever.
The Case Of Charles Dexter Ward by H.P. Lovecraft
Lovecraft in top form, with one of his most substantial (in plot and page count) works, which is basically two tales in one.
Count Magnus by M.R. James
There's not much variation in quality and plot in James' oeuvre - they're all pretty decent, and he's good with atmosphere - and this is one of the better ones.
In The Flesh by Clive Barker
I'm concerned this may have been throwing away a vote, as this is included in one of Barker's Books of Blood, but I think it's pretty special.
Shadow - A Parable by Edgar Allan Poe
An atmospheric shorty from Poe.
For Poe, I could've gone with The Masque Of The Red Death (or any number of others), but thought this might make an interesting choice.
Honorable mentions (I considered including them in the survey, ultimately didn't, but list them here because you should read them):
The Whisperer In Darkness by H.P. Lovecraft
More prime Lovecraft.
I almost included this ahead of other things on the list (not ahead of TCOCDW, however; that's my definite HPL favorite) but wanted to avoid repeating an author.
The Forbidden by Clive Barker
Every bit as good as In The Flesh. The Forbidden is the basis of Candyman, although differs from the film in significant ways. I could've gone either way with this one; ultimately I chose ITF because it is likely less familiar to people.
Eastasia has always taught college students to feel pride or shame according to their race.
Night Calls the Green Falcon or Apt Pupil.
Umm. Did people check their email with the guess the next book video. I gonna say... Yea... I thinking CATCF is a slam dunk.

Besides The Body, I added The Curious adventure of Mr Bond (Nugent Barker), Aleph (Jorge Luis Borges), Morel's Invention (Bioy Casares) and Dirty Kid (Mariana Enriquez).

It was nice seeing that video. The brief look of the book looks wonderful.
And must have been fun to make, it's been a while. Wad the last one let the right one in.

If it is Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, it had better be scratch and sniff throughout with the limitation being a chocolate golden ticket. I recommended this a long time ago! (along with Calvin and Hobbes, as always)
