I was actually thinking about another title for August; Harbour by John Ajvide Lindqvist. 🤔
Plot;
" The story follows Anders whose young daughter goes missing one winter day. Several years later an alcoholic and divorced Anders returns to the island. The novel also follows Anders' stepfather on the island, the illusionist Simon, who is starting to notice that there is something strange with the island and the sea itself."

Absolutely stoked for my favorite book as a preteen and teenager getting the Suntup treatment!!
Not sure about the HSB guess though. Already one or two nice editions out of that one. Maybe another of Joe's books??

Well even though I can't really afford it I just ordered one of the last 5 of the Slaughterhouse 5 numbered copies. I really want a copy of The Outsiders if that is the book in July.
Heart Shaped Box and Stepford Wives aren't my bag.
Missed the hints but if there's another Ania Ahlborn, The Devil Crept in Would Be Good... or The Shuddering. definitely either of those over Bird Eater
I would LOVE a Suntup Stephen Graham Jones
1 SH5 left. Better get it before someone else does.

IDK what Joe Hill book would fit the description of blending "the supernatural with real-life horrors of grief and loss".

It's kind of fun not know though.
it says that it's an author that has been done before so could it be something by,
Kealan Patrick Burke or John Ajvide Lindqvist?

Look, the way I see, Paul hasn't made a wrong turn yet as far as choices go. So I am sure it will be great, what ever it is. I wonder if it's by one of the ones
I mentioned above. I mean, it could be annother Ania book, but three would be a lot. And I am just thinking it would be from an an author who did
a book a while ago, not a recent one. But, I could be wrong . Guessing really isn't my thing anyway. I like the surprise.

I do hope we get another Lindqvist book but I would prefer it to be Little Star over any of the other ones (it doesn't match the description though).
