OK, since you're answering questions, maybe you feel like settling a bet: did you call the January book "big" due to its physical size or due to the number of people requesting it?

The warm glow of self-righteousness and a renewed belief in myself. This will fade over the next five minutes as the weight of the world resettles. But what a five minutes it will be!

And thank you for answering. I'm sure someone will toss this dripping red meat to the rabids on FB. And those new train riders will howl, blooded, and understand something they thought they knew.

I'm also experiencing a wee pinpoint of hope! Oh wait no, there it goes.

    Just my 2c,

I would LOVE The Name of the Wind to get the Suntup treatment.

BUT if it is Blood Meridian in Jan. I am going to do a backflip!

If it is a McCarthy SIGNED Blood Meridian, I am going to do a Triple Backflip!

(which as a fat book nerd, will be a sight to see! )

Just saw a picture of "The Plant", shared by Ari.
It showed the part 3 copyright page, being "stylised".

I remember that Suntup did something similar with at least a book. Can't remember which. Or if it was Dragon Rebound

I wonder if it was a pure coincidence, or if it was meant as a reference / easter egg?

I asked Lena for a drawing on paper that was sized to the book. It turned out very well and no worries about books being lost in the mail.

Are you thinking of the Colophon? I don't believe we've ever created a unique design or layout for a copyright page. For Misery, we styled the Colophon in the shape of an axe. There may have been one or two more, but nothing too elaborate. The Let The Right One In signature sheet has a unique design though.

I shipped my Horns S/L AND portfolio to Poland and back. It was a VERY tense month.
I asked Lena for a drawing on paper that was sized to the book. It turned out very well and no worries about books being lost in the mail.

Damn, she's SO good. Really happy she's doing these. When I asked her if she's ever done a remarque before, she said no! Yours is beautiful!
Thank you. I never thought of asking her to do a remarque because she did all the illustrations digitally for Horns. Thanks for posting yours!

By the time I checked, an hour and a half after the email, everything was gone.
