shame. I wanted to purchase and frame it. such a great painting.
Might want to check with artist to see if he offers prints:http://www.sicioldr.com/2018.html.
I believe the title of the painting is La Vista.

If you're going to frame it, then it may be fine. If I remember correctly, the top edge was bumped. But I think that could be flattened with the framing. I just need to make sure I still have them. I'll let you know early next week and I'll put them up for purchase at half the regular price.

Paul and team, I’m very much enjoying my reread of Imajica. The prose and story are fantastic, of course, but reading the AE adds so much more to the experience. I love the style of the “illuminated” chapter pages, and the geometric diagram at the head of each is always intriguing. It’s fun to try to relate it to that chapter’s content in some way, as a commentary on the characters relationships, perhaps. I haven’t read the appendix on this topic yet, so I’ll be interested to see what it says about them.

The book itself is very sturdy too; despite its obvious weight, I never feel like that weight is putting too much strain on the binding or boards. It feels designed to be read.

In his introduction (originally for a two-volume edition) the author states that the details of any given edition don’t matter much to him, and that the content of the work is all that matters. Reading this edition, I respectfully disagree.

Much thanks to everyone involved. Outstanding work all around.

I finally got around to reading The Wolfen today, and I love Strieber's new introduction. Another wife came to the rescue (a la Tabitha King) and hauled the typewrite out of the trash, just in case! Sad to hear she's gone now, but it sounds like they made the most of their time together.

If only I could get down off my high horse and go on Facebook for a chance at a giveaway.
But, you know, it's the principle of the thing.

I just won't have anything to do with Facebook, or whatever it's called now.

    April is definitely Hannibal
Any ideas about may / june?

June maybe "American Gods" and even though it's not an "american classic", well, it could be a clue about the title... but then it's not signed by the author

I don't know about The Omen though, i mean did it actually spawn a franchise or did the movie(s) spawn 3 novelizations?

My personal guess would be The Hellbound Heart, but that's just my guess.

I don't think Hellbound Heart has anything to do with Biblical prophecies, though.

I read the The Omen novel as a teenager; I don't remember much other than that I liked it. I believed this was simply a novelization of an existing movie (and therefore an unlikely Suntup candidate), but a quick look online shows that the Omen novel was written by the same person (David Seltzer) that wrote the screenplay of the (original) movie. This may add a touch of legitimacy to what otherwise would be a simple novelization (Neil Gaiman did something similar with Neverwhere, as did Arthur C. Clarke with 2001: A Space Odyssey - if that's what Seltzer was doing (this is a guess)).

Is Left Behind considered "one of the most successful horror franchises of all time"?
