Not sure if anyone's heard about it yet. I think there might have been a thread at .net.

Anyways, Project Gutenberg is a project where they collect books whose copyright has expired. You can download the ebooks (and sometimes the audiobooks) for free.

I myself recently downloaded a bunch of stuff including Aesop's Fables, alot of Mythology (greek, roman, norse) and alot of Jack London's works. I also downloaded Bram Stroker's Dracula.

Check it out, it's worth a shot.

I was looking thru this, and they've got some pretty good stuff on there. I downloaded the audio version of Mansfield Park by Jane Austen, and am listening to that. Also librivox.org has quite a collection of audiobooks. Some of the readers aren't the best, but hey it's free, so I can't complain.
