Unfortunately, the only early Doubleday edition of The Shining that has any collectible/monetary value is the first printing (gutter code of R49). You likely have a Book Club Edition, which isn't worth anything.

I have been doing some rearranging in my office and came across some SK paperbacks and was wondering the value of one in particular.
Hopefully somebody can help me out.. Thanks

It's great for propping your "Alexa" on so you can get a better camera angle. Or for preventing those nasty "Table rings" from your coffee cup. Does that help? lol

IMC was a publication a member here (Shannon) put together. It was a compilation of short stories written by members of this forum. There were two editions, paperback, and limited edition hardback.

There is a whole background to how it happened that I won’t go in to here, but you could hunt out the thread if you’re interested.

It would only be of value to the people who had their first ever publications in it. (And their relations.) They would treasure it. Anyone else would not have any interest at all.

Not in the market just yet but I hope to be in a few months. The prices I am seeing online are crazy. I hope those are overpriced and not current value! I understand it's a low print run and these are tough to come by but no way am I paying $5000.

$5,000 way way overpriced....obviously condition place a major role in price but $1500-$2000 I think is reasonable.

Thanks Tippy. I had only seen one sold listing on eBay and it was in that range as well, so I appreciate the confirmation. I've since found a photo of the letter that was mailed with these as well - neat stuff!
