How about this matched set?
This debate has no resolution, members are divided into two camps, those who like to have matching numbers and those who just don't care.
The former will see (and pay) an additional premium to get a matching number set and the latter will not.
"A real limited edition, far from being an expensive autograph stapled to a novel, is a treasure. And like all treasures do, it transforms the responsible owner into a caretaker, and being a caretaker of something as fragile and easily destroyed as ideas and images is not a bad thing but a good one...and so is the re-evaluation of what books are and what they do that necessarily follows." - Stephen King
I agree with Simon. Some collectors will pay a premium (a small premium) for the matching numbers. Others don't really care.
John
The only time I care about matching numbers is with the DT series. Also nice when any art portfolios with their book.
As far as The Shining + Doctor Sleep or other books it doesn't matter.
I would pay a premium for matching numbers where these books are related... some members would though and some would not... A DT set would mean the most but there are sets that demand my attention in this.. like Talisman/Black House... and always try to match a portfolio.. but I am brutal for matching numbers. lol

I just sold one to ARI for $150.00....
Based on that, about $40 - $50 of increased value.
OK thanks. Just this weekend I sold a mint FDNS for $135 so I'll ask $200 for this. Really that is a lot of work for $25 $75, Glenn must be rocket fast,
That's a lovely remarque. I think it all depends on the art itself. I'd add 50-75$ for that, but I would barely add anything for a quick doodle.

He really is! The guy is good at what he does and quick at it. I sent him 3 books once and he had a turn around of 3 days, a book a day! I think that is one of the appealing items I have of his work, most of it is unplanned, he just goes at it and leaves the imperfections.
But due to his speed and low cost, the market is overwhelmed by the amount of his work driving the price down further. JMHO
-Josh
Agreed. There is FAR too much Glenn remarques. I personally would not pay any extra for a book with one but there is a market still there.. although very small...

I recently bought a Remarqued Carrie off Betts. It wasn't selling and David discounted the price to the recommended retail price of the book therefore making the remarque free. I also bought a lettered Doctor Sleep for issue and got the three remarques for free. So remarques do not add a lot of value to the book. The only exception I can think of is, if it is a DT book.
I'm a little late to the party but $50 is about right.
