Fair value of a Firestarter S/L nowadays? Thanks team.
what would be a reasonable offer for a flat signed US BoBD?
"When I have a little money, I buy books; and if I have any left, I buy food and clothes."
Desiderius Erasmus Roterodamus
For a nice signature, $590. For an on the go (King standing up signing quickly for people) more compact or off angle signature, $550.
CORRECTION:
If this a Make offer auction, lower both prices by $100 to start with, as long as you aren't worried someone else will snag it.
Be prepared to move up a bit if needed.
All things being in VF condition; $1.200 for the July 5th dated books. $100 reduction per day on the later signatures.
The price/value is unlikely to decline, so a later book will escalate right with the first,
EDIT: This is one of those variants. Super-collectors will want all four dates of signature,
Thanks so much Firemonkey, Kris and RF...
Bazaar flatsigned...NO formal signings...I've fold 5 books at $800 each
Firestarter S/L...I've sold several from $1200-$1400.
Dragline : Nothin'. A handful of nothin'. You stupid mullet head. He beat you with nothin'. Just like today when he kept comin' back at me - with nothin'.
Luke : Yeah, well, sometimes nothin' can be a real cool hand.
Is 250$ for a S/L Blackhouse F/F a pretty good deal? Shipping included.

Yes. Go and get it

No it's a terrible deal. You should post the link here for us to contact the seller to tell him
I'm sure I don't know what you meanLol you're a bad man, James
On topic, does anyone have any thoughts as to the value of SP's Heart Shaped Box s/l? The ones numbered 1/500?
Thanks
There are two values for this book, depending on whether you have a copy numbered 1-200 or 201-500.
Although the S/L edition of Heart Shaped Box is numbered 1-500, numbers 1-200 were marketed as being a Deluxe S/L as they included additional content....
From The Sub Press website:
Limited:
300 sewn hardcover copies
Bound in full cloth
Signed by the author
Numbered 201-500
Deluxe Limited:
200 sewn hardcover copies
Bound in a different cloth
The deleted first chapter, printed as an appendix
An exclusive afterword by the author
Two two-color illustrations
An exclusive review of Hammered for Life: 15 SuperRock Hits
Signed by the author
Numbered 1-200
For the Standard S/L (numbered 201-500) you should expect to pay around $110 USD.
For the Deluxe S/L (numbered 1-200) you should expect to pay around $350 USD.
Fantastic, thanks Tim.
Local seller has offered me a >200 numbered copy for $400nzd. About $280usd so as I suspected WAY over priced.
Thanks again Tim, appreciate the help.
Cheers
James
PS Go Black!!!
Definitely overpriced! I agree with Tim. I bought a 1/200 months ago for $300 so those above should go for quite less.
Thank you! I saw your list in the JH thread(well done by the way) and it looks like I was lucky on that one. If I remember right I only had one other bidder against me and apparently they didn't want it that bad and gave up. I had no idea at the time what they were selling for but I knew I wanted it.
What are ya'll's thoughts on the going rate for a Frankenstein S/L?
What about the going rate on a UK Lisey's Story with the signed bookplate? Also can someone tell me about these books? I didn't see an entry in the catalog. THANKS!
The books were given out at Borders bookstore in London during the Lisey's Story tour to the ones who were still in line when the signing finished. They are just normal 1st editions, with a bookpate added. They are worth less than the officially signed ones, as hardly anyone wants a bookplate rther than a signed book.
They should not be a seperate entry in the catalog.
