    Default Great Music - Round 1: 1975-1979 (Group 10 of 16)

During the first round of The Great Music Tournament, please vote for up to five tracks you would like to move onto the next round. The top five tracks will be moving on. Keep in mind that the percentage of the vote a given track receives will determine its standing going forward.

IMPORTANT! Please do not simply vote on name recognition (or lack thereof) alone. Please do listen to each nomination and then make your choice. Even if you think you know a track well, it's still worth giving it a listen for a refresher.

The poll will run for seven days. Discussion is greatly encouraged!

The nominees are (please let me know if any video doesn't play for you):

    10cc - I'm Not in Love (1975)

Gerry Rafferty - Baker Street (1978)

    Boney M. - Rivers of Babylon (1978)

Billy Joel - Scenes from an Italian Restaurant (1977)

Michael Jackson - Don't Stop Til You Get Enough (1979)

    Jean Michel Jarre - Oxygène 2 (1976)

Pink Floyd - Pigs (Three Different Ones) (1977)

I do hope Scenes from an Italian Restaurant gets some attention. It's one of the best things Billy Joel ever did. Tells a great story, and so catchy.

And I'm hoping peeps give some well-deserved attention to the Jean Michel Jarre track, which is mind-blowing.
